Do you rent by the week, or only for longer periods?

Appartamenti Centrale offers seasonal and long-term rentals for holidaymakers only. Every apartment has a minimum stay of one month. We do not offer short-term weekly rentals.

What is the minimum stay?

The minimum stay is one month for every apartment (Resciesa, Seceda, Sella and Saslonch). Longer stays covering a whole winter season, a whole summer season, or several months are also possible.

Can I book for the whole winter or summer season?

Yes. The apartments are specifically designed for guests who want to spend a whole ski season, a whole summer season, or an extended holiday period in Val Gardena, not just a short stay.

Location

Where exactly are the apartments located?

All four apartments are at Via Rezia 48, directly in the pedestrian centre of Ortisei (St. Ulrich), in the heart of Val Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy.

Are the apartments really in the pedestrian zone?

Yes. Via Rezia is the main street of Ortisei's pedestrian zone, with shops, the supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, cafés and bus stops all reachable on foot.

How far are the lifts from the apartments?

The Alpe di Siusi lift is about 5 minutes on foot, the Seceda lift about 8 minutes, and the Resciesa funicular about 10 minutes.

Do I need a car once I'm there?

No. Thanks to the central location, lifts, shops, restaurants and bus stops are all within walking distance, and Val Gardena's excellent public transport covers most other needs during your stay.

What apartments are available?

Four apartments, all at Via Rezia 48: Resciesa (70 m² / 753 sq ft, up to 4 guests), Seceda (81 m² / 872 sq ft, up to 4 guests), Saslonch (82 m² / 883 sq ft, up to 4 guests), and Sella (38 m² / 409 sq ft, up to 2 guests).

Which apartment is best suited for a couple?

Apartment Sella (38 m² / 409 sq ft) is designed for up to 2 guests and is the most compact option.

Which apartment is best suited for a family?

Resciesa, Seceda and Saslonch each sleep up to 4 guests and have a separate children's bedroom. Seceda and Saslonch also include a separate guest WC.

Are the apartments on the ground floor? Is there a lift?

No. All apartments are on the third floor and the building has no lift. Guests with reduced mobility or heavy luggage should take this into account.

Is Wi-Fi included?

Yes. Every apartment includes free, stable, fast Wi-Fi.

How are the apartments heated?

All apartments have underfloor heating with independent temperature control in each room.

Is there a TV?

Yes, each apartment has a TV (46" in Resciesa and Seceda) with the option to connect a Sky or MySky decoder.

Parking & Ski Storage

Is parking included?

Yes. Each apartment includes a reserved parking space in the "Adler" garage at the beginning of the pedestrian zone, included at no extra charge.

Is there somewhere to store skis and ski boots?

Yes. External ski storage with boot heating is available at the nearby Peter ski rental, as well as at the Seceda and Alpe di Siusi lift base stations.

Winter Season

What is it like spending a whole ski season here?

Living in the centre of Ortisei during winter makes it easy to move between the apartment, the lifts, ski schools, ski rentals, shops and services, mostly on foot.

Where can I rent ski equipment nearby?

Is Ortisei a good base for hiking in summer?

Are pets allowed?

Getting to Ortisei

Is there a train station in Ortisei?

No. Ortisei (St. Ulrich) has no railway station of its own. The nearest stations are Bolzano, Bressanone/Brixen, Chiusa/Klausen and Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck, from where Val Gardena is comfortably reachable by regional bus, taxi or transfer service.

How do I get to Ortisei by car?

Take the Brenner motorway A22 to the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit (from the south via Bolzano, or from the north via the Brenner Pass), then continue about 20 minutes to Ortisei. Alternatively, exit at Bolzano Nord and continue via Ponte Gardena.

What is the closest airport?

Bolzano Airport (BZO), about 40 km away, is served by Sky Alps with connections from Germany, Austria and other European cities. Innsbruck Airport (INN), about 90 km away, is also conveniently connected, along with the larger Verona and Venice airports for wider international connections.
